Pastor Bob Ordeman is the founding pastor of International Christian Center. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, he moved to the Rio Grande Valley to work the medical evaluation of the WIC program. He was mentored in a local church and became the assistant pastor. In 1991 he and his wife and family launched the then-named Christian Fellowship Church in Brownsville. Since that time, it has grown to over 2300 members and has an additional campus in Matamoros, Mexico of 180.
The vision the Lord placed in Pastor Bob’s heart was to strive to see, “Every person a believer, every believer a disciple, and every disciple a minister.” Pastor Bob has a heart for evangelism and the development of leaders. His goal is to see the kingdom of God expanded by the participation of many lay ministers. Serving is at the heart of being a member of the congregation and many Christians have become equipped to serve God in the community and the church through the discipling process at ICC.
Pastor Bob and his wife Libby have four married children and nine grandchildren who live in Spain, Tampa, Florida; Austin, Texas; Washington, D.C. and Brownsville, Texas.
